         Report

We started the citizenship training at sharp 12. 10 pm. Students were really enthusiastic in learning about Fundamental rights. An introduction to citizenship training was given by Job B John. Then introduction to Fundamental rights was given by Devika. Right to Equality was given by Aiswarya, Right to Freedom was taken by Lakshmi. Right against Exploitation and Right to Freedom of Religion was taken by me and Cultural and Educational Rights and Right to Constitutional Remedies was given by Jyothi. All explained with real world examples. After the concluding session by Jyothi. We conducted a role play to be played by students themselves based on Right to Equality. One student was made to perform as a poor person and another student a rich person. Both came to a government office for their things at the same time but the rich person wants to go first, but he came a little late than poor person, so in such a situation what would you do if you were the rich person. This was the role play. Two students were called out and made to perform. The rich person playing student said he would wait, because the poor person has the same right as him at an office to do his thing. This made us understand that the training session was effective. Thus we ended the training program.
